At K Keyboard Team, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application on Android and iOS. We are committed to transparency regarding the permissions the app uses to function.

1. What We Do NOT Collect

The text you type is processed on your device to provide typing, suggestions and Myanmar reordering. We do not log, store, or transmit your keystrokes, and we never collect passwords, credit-card numbers, or private conversations. On iOS, "Full Access" is requested only so the optional Translate feature can reach our translation service — everyday typing works without it.

2. Information Collection and Use

Based on the permissions you grant, we collect and use data as follows:

I. Voice Typing (Microphone Access)

Where this feature is available, we request microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO on Android) to provide voice-to-text. Audio is processed in real-time to convert your speech into text. We do not record, store, or share your audio files on our servers.

II. Custom Themes, Wallpapers & Fonts (Photos / Storage Access)

With your permission, the app can use your own photos as keyboard backgrounds and let you import custom fonts. These files are processed and stored locally on your device only and are never uploaded.

III. Translation Feature (Network Access)

When you use the built-in translation tool, the text you input into the translate box is sent to a secure third-party provider (Microsoft / Azure Translator). Your general typing is never sent — only text you enter for translation.

• Data is transmitted via encrypted HTTPS.
• The text is used only for the translation process.
• To make translation faster and reduce cost, translations may be stored in an anonymous cache, keyed by a one-way hash and containing no name, account, or device identifier — a cached entry cannot be traced back to you.
• Text that appears to contain personal data (such as emails or phone numbers) is never cached.
• Cached translations are automatically deleted after 90 days of no use.
• We never link translations to your identity.

IV. Personal Dictionary & Suggestions

The app learns your typing habits and saves frequently used words to provide faster, more accurate suggestions. This data is stored locally on your device.

V. Clipboard Manager

The optional clipboard manager stores copied items only on your device, in the app's private storage, for your convenience. Clipboard content is never transmitted off your device, and you can clear it at any time.

VI. Advertising & Analytics

The app is free and supported by ads. Our partners may collect limited data to serve and measure ads and to keep the app stable:

• Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS / Advertising ID on Android), advertising data, and product-interaction data to deliver and measure ads.
• Google Firebase may collect anonymous analytics (product interaction), diagnostic data (crash and performance), and a push-notification token.

This data is not linked to your identity (the app has no account or login), and we do not track your personal activities or log your keystrokes. Learn how Google uses this data: How Google uses information from apps that use our services.

Your choices: On iOS, you control ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; EEA/UK users can reopen the consent form from the app's Ad privacy options. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID under Settings → Google → Ads.

VII. Notifications

If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send occasional updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, before any tracking for advertising, we show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You may decline and still use every feature of the app; declining simply means ads are less personalized.

4. Data Security & Deletion

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure local storage, to protect your data. K Keyboard never logs sensitive information such as passwords, credit card numbers, or private conversations.

Regarding Data Deletion: K Keyboard does not store personal data that identifies you. On-device data (settings, clipboard, custom fonts, personal dictionary) stays in the app's private storage and is removed when you delete the app. The only translation data we keep is an anonymous cache that contains no identifier and cannot be linked to you; these entries are automatically deleted after 90 days of no use. If you would like a specific cached translation removed, email us and we will delete it.

5. Children's Privacy

K Keyboard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete it from our records.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services (Google AdMob, Google Firebase, and a translation API). These services have their own privacy policies, which we recommend reviewing:

7. Consent for Users in the EEA, UK & Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. A consent form provided through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) is displayed, in line with the GDPR and Google's EU User Consent Policy. Personalized ads are shown only if you give consent, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the app's privacy settings.
